JOB OPENING - cabinet makers / BENCH JOINERS
At Mark Asplin Whiteley Ltd, we aim for perfection at the luxury end of the furniture and fitting markets. Currently, we have vacancies for experienced Cabinet Makers or Bench Joiners.
The successful applicants’ role will involve manufacture of bespoke fitted joinery and freestanding furniture. Ideally, candidates for the position should have an uncompromising attention to detail while working efficiently under time constraint. Previous experience as a cabinet maker/bench joiner or experience with bespoke joinery, machining and site work would be desirable, though not essential.
For more experienced Cabinet Makers or Bench Joiners, there could be the opportunity to take on a Team Leader role. This role involves managing projects and a team of 1 to 3 other makers, one of whom could be an apprentice. Team Leaders would be responsible for overseeing a job from start to finish, through the planning, construction, and in some cases fitting. He/she must also be prepared to work overtime when required. The position will include site work, home or abroad.
Remunerations would be negotiable on an individual basis depending upon experience. For the right candidate, we are committed to paying above industry rates and would consider a relocation bonus.
Successful applicants can expect to become part of a highly skilled workforce, which continues to innovate and forge 'the cutting edge' in materials, skills, and technology for valued clients in a business that has been established for thirty years.
